Midnight-Lark

First journal entry in over FOUR LONG YEARS!  Ack!  I'm still alive, still using the same wacom tablet that was gifted to me by a fellow deviant (you know who you are, if you're still around!), and still occasionally making art.  Mostly it's fueled by projects on a forum for fellow otaku, so they will sometimes be anime/manga inspired.  :P  I don't take as many photos these days, unless it's of my flowers.  In the past few years I trained and have become a floral designer. :)  So, that's what's up with me!

tonight i cooked a couple of dishes to eat for the rest of the week, and i cleaned up a bit in the living room.  not as much as i'd wanted to, and i'm about to after i write this. i just wanted to ramble about the movie 'love actually' because i put this on as 'background' while i was cleaning and every time i've done this i get sucked in.  i become completely involved in these stories, and it never fails at the end of the movie i feel all warm and fuzzy. this is probably one of my favorite movies, and if you haven't seen it, it's perfect for the holidays.  watch it with someone you love. at the end i was hugging myself.  isn't that sad?  

It's been raining soooo much here.  Which makes for great sleep, but bad for driving to work-which I must do in about 20 minuets.  *sighs*  I haven't been posting much lately, I dunno.  I did an illustration for a story called 'Rocket Powered Cat' I might post.  eh.  And one for a story called 'My Fellow Americans' or something like that.  I forget-it's been a month.  *shrugs* In other news, I should get a light pen/tablet set soon ;)  Can't wait-I'm sure there will be a surprising number of submissions once I get that puppy in.  :)
